Presented is a NASCAR tire that was race-used on a car driven by racing legend, Dale Earnhardt Sr. "GOODYEAR #1" and "EAGLE" is printed on the side of the tire in bright yellow. There is also some writing on the side of the tire with a white grease pencil. The tire is 27" high, and 12" wide and shows heavy use as asphalt and gravel are stuck to the rubber. This tire is originally from a charity auction and was donated by the Earnhardt team. Earnhardt raced from 1975 to 2001 and is considered to be one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. His aggressive driving style earned him the nickname, "The Intimidator." Tragically, Earnhardt died on February 18, 2001, in injuries sustained in a crash during the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.
