Displayed is a charming, detailed, candy holder which is attired in all period clothing, including the belt. The candy holder is in the form of a baseball player which is made from plaster. A few areas have been expertly restored or touched up; 95% is original, and all clothing is 100% original. The team on which the figure plays is not specific.

The player holds a 4.25" wooden bat. The ball player is dressed from head-to-toe in Eighteenth Century baseball fashion. The figure wears a gray pillbox cap, with horizontal red (maroon) stripes. His toes are encased in black baseball shoes, high-topped and with black laces. The jersey and pants are made of gray cloth, and the pants are just below the knees, like knickers. A tie (red) is in place, as was the custom of the times. A brown "leather" belt, with a huge buckle, is worn, and the player wears red (maroon) high socks.

The player stands 9.75" tall, and at its widest, the offering measures 3.25". The offering weighs 7.25 ounces. The hand-painted candy holder shows great, specific detail, with rosy cheeks and blue eyes. The fragile offering has some wear on the tie, cuffs, and collar, but is in overall EXCELLENT condition.
