A ticket stub from the April 18, 1946, game between the Jersey City Giants and the Montreal Royals, Jackie Robinson's minor league debut. The ticket, with a face value of .60, has been authenticated and grade by Beckett and the service has awarded a grade of 2. Also noted on the slab are Robinson's stats from the game, as he went 3-4 with 2 home runs, 4 RBIs, and 2 stolen bases. The service also notes that there is some residue on the ticket from being stored inside a scrapbook. Robinson proved that he was too good for minor league ball in 1946, leading the International League in hitting and winning the league's MVP award. Robinson would break the Major League color barrier in 1947 and go on to a Hall of Fame career. This is an incredible piece of memorabilia from his professional baseball debut.
