Circa 1986-89 Dave Parker game used bat. Black Louisville Slugger Model M253 ash bat measures 35.5" and weighs 33.2 ounces. Nice use is displayed in this uncracked specimen with scattered wear evident throughout, including ball impressions on the barrel. Parker's number 39 is written on the knob in silver paint pen, and per the included LOA, number 31 has been written on the barrel end (the "1" is somewhat faded). The four-year labeling period for this bat includes two seasons with the Cincinnati Reds ('86-87), and two with the Oakland A's ('88-89); relief pitcher John Franco wore number 31 had only 4 plate appearances for the Reds in '86-87, thus it's unlikely it was marked for him, and Scott Hedmond wore the number for the Athletics in '89 but was not credited with any plate appearances, thus solidifying that the use can be attributed to Parker. The Hall of Fame slugger mashed 339 round-trippers with 1,491 RBI in his 19 seasons, with 91 of his homers coming in this four-year span. Comes with full PSA from LOA.
