Presented is a 1978 New York Yankees golf program from the Yankee Greats Winter Invitational Golf Tournament, honoring Yankees manager Billy Martin, held at the Boca Teeca Country Club Estates. The program has nine signatures: On the back cover are the signatures of Joe DiMaggio and Ralph Branca. Roger Maris has autographed his photo in the centerfold, and on the front cover are signatures of Billy Martin, Yogi Berra, Phil Rizzuto, Stan Musial, Cliff Johnson, and Paul Blair. This golf tournament was held for the benefit of the American Cancer Society, and it was held in Boca Raton, Florida, from February 17-19, 1978.

In the 1977 the Yankees finished first in the AL East, with a record of 100-62, defeated the Kansas City Royals 3-2 in the Championship Series, and beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2 in games to take the World Series. Martin managed the Yankees for the entire 1977 season. Hall of Famer Yogi Berra was a Yankee coach, Hall of Famer Rizzuto was a Yankee broadcaster, Cliff Johnson was a designated hitter for the Bronx Bombers, and Paul Blair was a Yankee center fielder. Stan "The Man" Musial was never a Yankee, but a signature from the iconic Hall of Famer is always prized. Joe DiMaggio signed a bold, neat autograph on the back cover. Also signing on the back cover is Ralph Branca, mostly remembered as a Brooklyn Dodger hurler, who threw his infamous pitch to Bobby Thomson as the New York Giants beat the Dodgers for the '51 pennant in The Miracle of Coogan's Bluff. Branca also pitched briefly for the Yankees. There are 18 Yankees with individual photos in the program's centerfold, and Roger Maris, the Yankee who will ever be remembered for his then-Major League record 61 home runs in the '61 season, has signed his photo in the centerfold. Billy Martin signed his autograph in black ballpoint ink, but the remaining eight photos were all signed in blue ballpoint ink.

The signatures average 8/10. The program has a few light stains on the cover, but it is in otherwise EXCELLENT condition.
