Limited-edition print (numbered 347/500) issued by the Negro League Baseball Players Association at its October 13, 1990, Baltimore reunion. This piece was designed and issued specifically for autograph collectors who attended the show and the piece is even titled "Autograph Sheet" in black lettering at the top. Our consignor's husband attended the show and was lucky enough to obtain the signatures of fifty-nine former Negro League players in attendance, including Monte Irvin, Buck Leonard, Don Newcombe, Joe Black, Double Duty Radcliffe, Leon Day, Lyman Bostock Sr., Sherwood Brewer, Marlin Carter, Bill "Ready" Cash, Armando Vazquez, Lester Lockett, Jimmy Dean, Piper Davis, Bill Byrd, Frank Evans, and Nap Gulley. The signatures, scripted in a variety of colored markers, are all boldly scripted and grade 9/10 on average. The print (11x17"), printed on heavy paper stock. Displays light rippling and a few small creases.
