1982 Carlton Fisk Chicago White Sox signed game used bat. Flame burned Adirondack Model 369B ash bat measures 34.0" and weighs a hefty 35.5 ounces. Uncracked bat exhibits great use with original tape on handle, ball impressions and ink transfer on the barrel, and bat rack paint transfer. Number 72 is written on the knob and circled in thick black marker, and the model number and other info is stamped. It is magnificently autographed between the trademark and barrel stamp in 10/10 black Sharpie (it is worth noting that the replica autograph on the barrel stamp - which looks nothing like the actual autograph - uses his legendary nickname "Pudge," though the Hall of Fame catcher has signed with his first name, Carlton). Fisk's longevity was remarkable at the catcher's position over his 24 seasons - 11 with the Boston Red Sox and 13 with the White Sox. At the time of his retirement, his 2,226 games caught was the MLB record; in the 1982 season, Pudge earned one of his 11 All Star Game selections, and ended the season with a .267 average and 14 homers. Comes with full PSA from LOA, with the bat earning a grade of PSA/DNA GU 9.5. Please note that the LOA covers game use only, and not the signature.
