Bob Dylan and Carlos Santana teamed up to perform on their famous Europe 1984 tour that included performances at some of the largest and best-known concert venues in Europe, and in addition, the Dylan and Santana performers were on occasion joined by some of the biggest names in music. Presented is a colorful program of the tour that includes autographs of Dylan, Santana, and Brian Johnson (of AC/DC). The Europe 1984 tour began on May 28th at the Verona Arena, in Verona, Italy; the tour concluded with a July 8th concert at Slane Castle, in Slane, Ireland. As stated by Ian Woodward, "[The program] was not produced before the tour started [,] but was produced during the course of the tour." The reason for the foregoing deduction was that the program includes a photo of the performance at Verona Arena, from the first concert of the tour.

Dylan's '84 European Tour Band: Mick Taylor, ex-Rolling Stones on guitar; Ian McLagan, ex-Faces, on keyboards; Colin Allen on drums, and Greg Sutton on bass. The iconic venues on the 27-date tour included: Wembley Stadium, in London, England; St. James Park in Newcastle on Tyne, England; Slane Castle, in Slane, Ireland; Stade [Stadium], in Gothenburg, Sweden. Some of the world-renowned musicians who appeared as guests on the 1984 tour: Joan Baez (Hamburg, Munich, Copenhagen, Offenbach, Nice and Nantes); Van Morrison (Paris, London, and Slane); Eric Clapton (London); Bono (Slane). Real Live, an album which documented Dylan's '84 summer, was released by Columbia Records in late '84. The album contained two songs recorded at St. James Park, in Newcastle on Tyne, England, on July 5th, six songs recorded at Wembley Stadium, in London, England, on July 7th, and two songs recorded at Slane Castle, in Slane, Ireland, on July 8th.

The offered program measures 9.5x13", and it has 28-pages, including covers. The program contains many photographs, both in black & white and in color. The spine of the program exhibits some tiny paper loss, and near the spine are some crinkling, small folds. There is some very small paper loss around the edges of the front cover, and slight crinkling on the cover in small spots. The back cover exhibits some slight folds and crinkling, plus a tiny stray, black mark. The pages within the cover pages are in nice condition. The program comes with three signatures, and each autograph has an inscription. On Page 2 of the program (the inside front cover), Brian Johnson, of AC/DC wrote, using a fine-tip blue marker, singed and inscribed: "Love to Cathy/from Brian Johnson/SAC/DC/'84." On page 3 in black ink from a fine-tip marker, Santana signed and inscribed, "Best Wishes/Kathy Carlos Santana/Santana." Also, on Page 3, Bob Dylan, using a black fine-tip marker, signed and inscribed, "Good Luck "Kathy"/Bob Dylan/Newcastle 1984." (Johnson spelled Cathy with a "C", while Santana and Dylan spelled the name with a "K".) The signatures of Brian Johnson and Santana rate 8/10, while the Dylan signature is about a 6 or 7/10.
