Between the years 1919 and 1931 the New York Giants baseball team issued uniquely designed sterling silver season passes to their season ticket holders and VIPs, all of which featured the recipient's name and pass number on the reverse. Today, those passes are highly prized by collectors, with complete sets found in only the most advanced collections. The offered pass was issued for the 1927 season. The pass (1.5x1.25"), which is designed in the shape of a fan consisting of eight baseball bats, reads "Giant - 1927 - Chas. A. Stoneham Pres." on the front. The reverse engraving features the pass number ("640") and the name of the recipient ("Ray Kelly"). Smaller engravings at the base of the reverse list the manufacturer ("Lambert Bros. N.Y.:) and the silver composition ("Sterling"). Light tarnishing on the front and reverse, otherwise it remains in Near Mint condition.
