A gold medal presented to iconic boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. for winning the 1995 USA Boxing Championship. The medal is gold in color and reads on the front side, "USA Boxing Championships." The reverse side reads "Colorado Springs, Colorado 1995" as the event was held at the United States Air Force Academy. Mayweather would go on to win a bronze medal at the 1996 Olympics and turned professional later that year. Mayweather is considered to be among the greatest boxers in the history of the sport as he finished his career with a record of 50-0. This is an awesome piece of memorabilia from the earliest days of his career.
