A gold medallion presented to iconic boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the St. Louis Gateway to the Gold event in 1994. The event was meant to give athletes in multiple sports an Olympic-like experience. Mayweather Jr., who would win a bronze medal at the 1996 Olympics, lost in the gold medal match to boxer Serafim Todorov. The decision was so controversial that one of the judges resigned in protest. While Mayweather Jr. would lose this match as an amateur, he would never lose a bout as a pro, finishing his career with a record of 50-0. This is an impressive piece of memorabilia from one of the greatest fighters who ever lived.
