Original large-format color photograph, taken by Frank Sinatra, capturing ring action from the legendary "Fight of the Century" between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier at Madison Square Garden on March 8, 1971. Sinatra had ringside access for the fight as a photographer for LIFE magazine and this shot captures Frazier stalking Ali as the near the ropes. The photo (13x10.25"; visible dimensions) remains in apparent Excellent to Mint condition. The lettering at the base of the mount reads "Photo by Frank Sinatra." A white label, bearing the number "15" appears in the lower left corner of the mount. This is one of several original Sinatra photographs from the fight we have handled over the years, all of which have been mounted in the same style. The heavy cardboard mount (16x20") displays several tack holes in each corner and light corner wear.
