Cincinnati Reds ticket stub issued for a game against the Montreal Expos on May 5, 1978, in which Pete Rose recorded his 3,000th hit, signed and inscribed by Rose in blue marker on the front: "Pete Rose 3000 Hits." PSA has graded the signature GEM MINT 10 and the ticket GOOD 2. This is the ONLY signed example of this ticket stub graded at this level, with just five graded higher. Rose's historic hit came in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he singled to left off of pitcher Steve Rogers. At the time, Rose was just the thirteenth player in Major League history to amass 3,000 or more hits. Rose, of course, far exceeded that total, ending his career with a record 4,256 hits. 3.5x1.5".
