Vintage New York City cardboard train sign, dating from the circa 1930s-1950s, promoting baseball games at both Yankee Stadium and the Polo Grounds. This is a double-sided sign, with two grommets at the top so that the sign could be displayed accordingly on the train. One side reads "Baseball/Ladies' Day/Every Friday/Polo Grounds/or/Yankee Stadium/Train 'CC' to Ball Parks." The opposite side reads "No Baseball Game Today." The heavy cardboard sign (11x11") displays wear commensurate with its age and former use, including light-to-moderate creasing and a few minor stains.
