Presented is an extremely rare Ichiro Suzuki signed jersey, a limited-edition jersey number #51/151. Susuki played nine seasons for the Orix BlueWave of Nippon Professional Baseball, and then the following 12 seasons with the Seattle Mariners. He then played for the New York Yankees (2012-14), Miami Marlins (2015-17) and then back with Seattle (2018-19). In the Japanese Major Leagues, he batted a career .353 with 1,278 hits, 118 home runs, and 199 steals. In the United States Major Leagues, he batted .311 with 3,089 hits, 117 home runs, and 509 steals. In MLB play, Suzuki was a 10-time All-Star, a 10-time Gold Glove recipient, and a 2-time batting champion. Ichiro usually uses his given first name, Ichiro, rather than his family name of Suzuki. The practice began in Japan because Suzuki is extremely common as a last name in Japan, and business advisors thought that if Suzuki used his first name as his identifying name, that it would bring more popularity and endorsements. The plan worked. 

The blue, short sleeve jersey has a Russell Athletic size "44" tag in the collar that on back shows "100% polyester." "Mariners" is across the chest in sewn-on silver letters with aqua trim. The Mariner logo is sewn-on above the team's name. Six blue buttons go down the front, and the buttons are bracketed by silver vertical piping. On the right sleeve is the American League's 100 Seasons (1901-2001) sewn-on patch. The left sleeve has a sewn-on "2001 All Star Game Seattle" patch. Underneath the above patch is a sewn-on Russell Athletic logo. On the left outside tail is a Russell Authentic Collection/MLB patch, with washing instructions. The back outside collar has a MLB logo patch. On a sewn-on blue nameplate, "ICHIRO" is in sewn-on silver, glittering lettering, with aqua trim. Below the player's name is "51" in silver, sewn-on, glittering numerals, with aqua trim. Ichiro signed the numeral "5" in fine-tip black marker. Near the bottom of the numeral "5," an unknown hand has printed, in fine-tip black marker, the limited-edition number of "51/151." The jersey is in EXCELLENT condition. The jersey comes with a UDA sticker and a PSA LOA.
