Two baseballs that were hit for home runs by former Kansas City Athletics and New York Mets third baseman Ed Charles. The first in inscribed: "1st homerun in Yankee Stadium, 1962" and "Hit off Ralph Terry, New York." The other baseball reads, "Home run ball on my Birthday," and "Against Detroit Tigers - 1964." Charles would play in the Major Leagues from 1962 through 1969 and was a member of the Mets 1969 World Series team. He passed away in 2018 at the age of 84.
