A pair of game used baseballs from former Kansas City Athletics and New York Mets third baseman Ed Charles with several inscriptions. One ball reads 1962 Grand Slammer, Against Dean Chance Los Angeles Angels, Hit in Kansas City, 1st in my Major League career. The second ball reads: Set New York Met Record for Pinch Home Runs in a Season "3" 1968. No. 1 Joe Hoerner St. Louis, No. 2 Bob Gibson St. Louis, No. 3 Ron Reed, Atlanta Braves. Charles, a member of the 1969 Mets World Series winning team, passed away in 2018 at the age of 84.
