Circa 1961-63 Dick Groat game used bat. Hillerich & Bradsby Model O16 ash bat measures 35.0" and weighs 32.9 ounces. Dating from the later stage of his 9-year stint with the Pittsburgh Pirates, bat has number 24 on the knob in fading black marker, is uncracked, and light use is displayed with some fading of the stampings evident. Groat won the National League MVP award in 1960 with the Pirates, and was runner-up while with the St. Louis Cardinals in '63, thus this beauty dates from the prime of his 14-year MLB career. Comes with full PSA from LOA, with the bat earning a grade of PSA/DNA GU 7.
