Presented is a great Penn State football item - a color photo, dual-signed, by a pair of Penn State Nittany Lion icons: linebacker Jack Ham and head coach Joe Paterno. Ham played three seasons under Paterno, and the Nittany Lions finished with records of 11-0, 11-0, and 7-3. Ham was an outside linebacker, and he was a co-captain of Penn State in his senior year, 1970. That year Ham had 91 tackles, four interceptions, and was named an All-American. In the NFL, Ham played his entire career with the Pittsburgh Steelers (1971-82). He was a key part of four Super Bowl winners. He is a member of both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Joe Paterno came from Brooklyn, New York, and he played quarterback and defensive back for Brown University. He was the head football coach at Penn State from 1966-2011. His teams won 409 games at Penn State, more wins than any other coach in NCAA FBS history. His teams won two National Championships and three Big Ten Championships. Paterno wound up leaving Penn State because of an infamous scandal, and he died soon afterwards.

The color photo measures approx. 8x10". On the left of the photo is Jack Ham, probably holding his Pro Football Hall of Fame bust. Paterno is on the right. An easel holds an image of Ham in game action. Using a black marker, Ham signed over the easel on the photo and inscribed, "HOF 1988." Paterno used a fine tip black marker to sign, "Joe Paterno." Both signatures are neatly scripted. The offering comes with a PSA/DNA LOA for the Jack Ham and Joe Paterno signatures (Cert. Number: AN03387). The dual-signed photo is in EXCELLENT condition.
