Lot Description  

A lot of memorabilia containing items from the Personal Collection of legendary baseball pitcher Christy Mathewson. The documents pertain to Mathewson's high school days at Keystone Academy. There are Letters of Provenance for each of the items. Included in the lot are:

* A Gas Training Schedule related to Mathewson's service in the Army during World War I. 

* A souvenir program from Christy Mathewson day, held after his death from tuberculosis in 1925. 

* A graduation program from 1908, when Mathewson's brother graduated from Keystone Academy. 

* A card featuring the name of Mathewson's brother, Nicholas. 

* An advertisement for Ajax Tires boasting that Mathewson used their brand.
