The collection provides a means for any hockey fan to time travel back to a world when the National Hockey League had only six teams and rivalries would heighten as teams met in 14 regular season games. The programs provide a wealth of photos and stories. The condition of the programs varies. Most are in good or very good condition. A few have some minor folds, corner wear, small paper loss, and other small imperfections. The offering also includes six inserts from programs, and an undetermined number of these might have come loose from the programs. The inserts generally provide topical (for the times) information, lineups, stories, game notes, etc. The condition of these inserts ranges from very good to excellent.
