"The Great One" is his nickname, and if ever a hockey nickname is apropos, it is Gretzky's. The photo has a wonderful, peaceful feel to it, with Gretzky, so often surrounded by the excitement of players, fans and noise on the ice of famous arenas, yet in the juxtaposition of this photo, surrounded instead by the serenity of trees, snow and stillness, he is almost once-again a boy on a pond or small lake in the woods.
