Great college football coach Glenn S. "Pop" Warner won four National Championships: Pittsburgh (1915, '16, & '18) and Stanford (1926). Presented is a Pop Warner inscribed and signed index card. Warner was a tremendous football innovator who created both the single wing and the double wing formations. He also originated placing his backs in a three-point stance, as well as creating numerous tricky plays, such as the hook-and-lateral play, and the screen pass. His teams at the Carlisle Indian Industrial School became a national phenomenon, with the great back Jim Thorpe. His name lives on in the amateur youth league called Pop Warner Football.

Warner inscribed and signed one of the blank sides of a 3x5" index card. Using dark blue or black ink from a fountain pen, Warner inscribed and signed, in neat script, "Heres [sic] hoping that you will tackle all your problems with success, that you will block all efforts to get you down, and that you will reach the goal of your ambition./Sincerely/Glenn S. 'Pop' Warner." The index card shows some minor darkening, but it is in overall EXCELLENT condition. The offering has been encapsulated and PSA/DNA CERTIFIED as "AUTHENTIC AUTO."
