Presented is a 1993, original David Letterman photograph with the famous talk show host posed in front of a background of New York City. Letterman was a late-night television talk show host for 33 years: Late Night with David Letterman (1982-93) on NBC and the Late Show with David Letterman (1993-2015) on CBS. Both shows were produced in New York City, with the NBC show produced at 30 Rockefeller Center, and the CBS show produced at the Ed Sullivan Theater. As a performer, producer, or a member of a writing team, Letterman has won two Daytime Emmys and 10 Primetime Emmys. A number of late-night talk show hosts have credited Letterman as being an influence: Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jon Stewart.
