Nicknamed "the Left Hand of God," Sandy Koufax, for a stretch five years, was able to make that lofty nickname seem like an understatement. Offered is a collection of five (5) Sandy Koufax autographs. Koufax spent his entire 12-year career with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers. From 1962-66, the Hall of Famer won 111 games. losing only 34 times, won the NL ERA title each season (three times under 2 runs a game), and struck out 1,444 batters. He also won three Major League Cy Young Awards in those years. Then, because of chronic pain in his pitching arm, he left, forced to retire if he wanted to avoid lifetime disablement. Reminder - Sandy Koufax signed these autographs with the same arm that for five seasons made him what many pundits consider the best pitcher of all-time.
