Presented is a print, originally created in watercolor by Richard Elmore, of the Twelfth Hole at Spyglass Hill Golf Course, in Pebble Beach, California, a course designed by Robert Trent Jones, famous golf course architect. Jones began to use his "Trent" middle name to distinguish himself from a sometimes collaborator, and non-relative, golfer Robby "Bobby" Jones. A British American, Robert Trent Jones designed or redesigned over 500 golf courses in 45 states and 35 countries. He even designed a putting green for the Eisenhower White House and a single hole at the Presidential retreat at Camp David.
The Twelfth Hole, a par 3 at Spyglass Hill, is 178 yards and it faces the ocean, which is obscured by trees from the forest. The course is famous for combining elements of both the ocean and the forest. Look closely, and three deer are shown near the woods. Robert Trent Jones signed the print in the lower left corner, scripted a neat signature in blue ballpoint ink. The print measures 23.5x17.5", matted and framed to 22x28". The item comes with a PSA LOA for the signature. The offering is in EXCELLENT condition.
