Outstanding signature example of perhaps the most iconic professional wrestler in the history of the sport: Andre the Giant. That is exactly how his signature reads here, which is beautifully scripted in blue ink (grading 9/10) on a full-sized sheet of lined notebook paper. PSA has encapsulated the sheet and certified the signature as "Authentic." This autograph also comes with outstanding provenance. As detailed in an accompanying letter from our consignor, he personally obtained the signature on October 26, 1978, while attending a wrestling show at the Winnipeg Arena in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada). He was just fifteen years old at the time and in addition to Andre's signature, he obtained those of several other performers that night, including Black Jack Lanza and Jim Brunzell. Included with the letter is a newspaper clipping featuring a report of the matches at the Winnipeg Arena on October 26, 1978. Excellent condition.
