Large collection of fifty vintage boxing items, some of which are rare, and most of which have outstanding display value. With just a few exceptions, nearly all date from the first half of the twentieth century. Condition varies (averaging GD-VG), but all the items can be viewed on our website

The collection consists of the following: 1) A vintage wooden Indian club that has a carving on the front indicating it was a gift from Jack Dempsey in 1934; 2-3) A metallic advertising statue of John L. Sullivan issued by the James Clark Distilling Company of Jersey City, New Jersey; together with an empty glass half-pint whiskey bottle bearing Sullivan's name and likeness issued by the same company; 4-7) Four small Jack Dempsey whiskey bottles (three identical empty examples and a different unopened example); 8) A silver-colored napkin ring bearing the initials "JD" (possibly for Jack Dempsey, but no documentation accompanies); 9) An empty box of "Max Baer Razor Blades"; 10) A small silver-colored ashtray with a depiction of a boxer in the center; 11-13) Three Joe Louis flip books; 14) A Popeye flip book with a boxing theme; 15) A Jack Dempsey "8MM Safety Toy Film" in original box; 16) A "Wm Penn" cigar box featuring an image of Rocky Marciano on the interior label (Poor condition); 17) A vintage empty Newsome's milk bottle featuring a boxer image on one side; 18) A Joe Louis branded milk glass; 18) A vintage empty Sunnyhurst milk bottle featuring an endorsement and image of Rocky Marciano on one side; 19) Pair of vintage boxing gloves; 20) Tiny single boxing glove; 21-22) Champions cigar box and small writing pad featuring respectively, a pair of young boxers on the interior label and cover; 23-24) Pair of vintage Joe Louis photos; 25) 1932 Max Schmeling training camp flyer; 26-35) Ten clay chips, each featuring a depiction of a boxer on either side; 36) Pair of vintage black boxing shoes; 37) "Tip Top Boxing" game (includes only the box lid and ring game board); 38) Vintage metallic match safe (one side pictures boxer Jimmy Carruthers); 39) Vintage French biscuit tin featuring a boxing illustration on the front panel; 40) Sonny Liston ink press (?); 41) Silver-colored cup engraved "Gerrie Coetzee 1983 Heavyweight Champ"; 42) Gold-colored paperweight engraved "Duran vs. Leonard Nov. 25, 1980 Superdome Ogden Food Service Corporation"; 43-50) Eight Jack Dempsey wrapped sugar cubes (most likely from his restaurant).
