Offered is a 2000 New Jersey Devils Diamond Cutters Stanley Cup Championship ring awarded to a member of the Devils staff. The Devils went 45-24-8-5 in the regular season in 1999-2000 and defeated the Dallas Stars in six games to win the franchise's second Stanley Cup. The team was coached by Robbie Ftorek from October 1999 to March 2000, and then by Larry Robinson, from March 2000 through the end of the playoffs, in June 2000. The team was captained by Scott Stevens. Patrik Elias led the Devils in goals, with 35, and points, with 72. Hall of Fame goalie Martin Brodeur had a 2.24 GGA. Around the ring face, raised lettering reads, "STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS 2000." The Devils' interlocking NJ emblem is on the ring face, set over a background of diamonds. The left shank reads, "DANZI 2000 10-2." The right shank reads, "New Jersey Devils." The ring is a custom-made Stanley Cup Championship ring in 14K plumb white gold and .70 ctw in SI-1, G diamonds, Each ring weighs approx. 35 penny weights for the men and approximately 25 penny weights for the ladies. All of the diamonds are natural and untreated. The ring is size 11. The offering comes with a Diamond Cutters International signed appraisal, dated November 29, 2000, and signed by the appraiser. The ring comes in a very attractive box, measuring 4x4", with a height of 2.25". The top of the box exhibits the New Jersey Devils logo. The inside of the box reads, "2000 Stanley Cup Champions." The ring is in EXCELLENT condition.
