Collection of eleven Boston Red Sox team-signed baseballs spanning the years 1947 to 1960. The highlight of the collection is a 1955 team ball featuring the rare signature of Harry Agganis, who who played only in 1954 and '55 before giving way to illness and passing away during that '55 season. As a bonus, the 1955 ball is accompanied by its original box with mailing label from owner Tom Yawkey. Please note that given the number of baseballs and signatures, the collection may include additional clubhouse signatures to those we have noted. 

The balls in the collection are as follows:

1) 1947. Twenty-eight blue-ink signatures (averaging 6/10) on an OAL (Harridge) ball, including Williams (sweet spot), Cronin (Mgr.) Doerr, DiMaggio, Pesky, and Dobson. EX-MT. 

2) 1951. Twenty-nine blue-ink signatures (averaging 7/10) on an OAL (Harridge) ball, including Combs (coach), Doerr, Boudreau, DiMaggio, O'Neill (Mgr., sweet spot) Pesky, Parnell, and Dropo (the Ted Williams signature on the sweet spot is a clubhouse example). EX-MT. 

3) 1952. Thirty black-ink signatures (averaging 5/10) on an OAL (Harridge) ball, including Boudreau (Mgr., sweet spot), DiMaggio, Piersall, Stephens, Pesky, and Parnell. VG. 

4) 1955. Twenty-three blue-ink signatures (averaging 8/10) on an OAL (Harridge) ball, including Agganis, Klaus, Joost, Nixon, Parnell, Goodman, Jensen, and Stephens. (Please note that the signatures of Ted Williams and manager Pinky Higgins on the sweet spot are secretarial examples.) NR-MT. The original mailing box includes a partially torn mailing label postmarked July 11, 1955, with "T.A. Yawkey" typed in as the sender and the recipient's name blacked out. 

5) 1955. Twenty-five blue-ink signatures (averaging 8/10) on an OAL (Harridge) ball, including Williams (sweet spot), Higgins (Mgr., sweet spot), Goodman, Susce, Olson, Ferris (coach), Piersall, Parnell, and Jensen. 

6) 1955. Thirty blue-ink signatures (averaging 6/10) on an OAL (Harridge) ball, including Williams (sweet spot), Susce, Kinder, Parnell, Mele, Jensen, and Sullivan. (The signature of manager Pinky Higgins on the sweet spot has been deemed a clubhouse example by JSA.) VG-EX. Accompanied by a full LOA from JSA. 

7) 1956. Thirty blue-ink signatures (averaging 6/10) on an OAL (Harridge) ball, including Williams (sweet spot), Higgins (Mgr., sweet spot), Daley, Klaus, Lepcio, Piersall, Zauchin, Gernert, Parnell, Stephens, Kiely, Jensen, and White. VG. 

8) 1957. Twenty-five blue-ink signatures (averaging 7/10) on an OAL (Harridge) ball, including Williams (sweet spot), Piersall, Vernon, Stone, Jensen, Mauch, Lepcio, and Gernert. EX. 

9) 1958. Twenty-seven blue-ink signatures (averaging 7/10) on an OAL (Harridge) ball, including Williams (sweet spot), Higgins (Mgr., sweet spot), Byerly, Jensen, Runnels, White, Sullivan, and Malzone. EX-MT.

10) 1959. Twenty-eight blue-ink signatures (averaging 7/10) on an OAL (Cronin) ball, including Malzone (sweet spot), Gernert, Geiger, Jensen, Stephens, Runnels, and Casale. (Please note that the Ted Williams signature on the sweet spot is a secretarial example). EX-MT. 

11) 1960. Twenty-nine black-ink signatures (averaging 4/10) on an OAL (Cronin) ball, including Williams (sweet spot), Higgins (Mgr., sweet spot), Wertz, York (coach), Malzone, Brewer, Maglie (coach), and Hardy. The erroneous year, "Boston 1959" is written in blue ink on a side panel. VG.
