Circa 1968-70, a bat used by former New York Yankees All-Star shortstop Tony Kubek. The Adirondack Big Stick model bat shows excellent signs of use with ball strikes evident and chips in the barrel and in the handle. Kubek has signed the bat near the barrel in black marker, adding his #10. Kubek broke into the league in 1957 and was immediately a hit for the Bronx Bombers, winning that year's American League Rookie of the Year Award. In a career that spanned 9 seasons, all with the Yankees, Kubek would win three World Series titles and make four All-Star games. Following his playing career, he would become a prominent broadcaster for multiple networks.
