Presented is a Mickey Cochrane cut signature from the Hall of Fame catcher. An all-time great and the third catcher ever inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, Cochrane batted .320 in his 13-year career; Philadelphia Athletics (1925-33), Detroit Tigers (1934-37). Known as "Black Mike," he was a 2-time World Champion with the Athletics and won another World's Championship with Detroit as a player manager. Cochrane was such a highly admired star, and Mickey Mantle was named after famous backstop. The cut signature is on thin card stock or paper measuring about 1.8x3.4". Cochrane signed in fountain ink. The signature has been encapsulated has a PSA/DNA Auto Grade of MINT 9.
