Marcel Pronovost Detroit Red Wings game used skates from the 1960s. These black leather skates have been worn by Pronovost and show heavy signs of use. The laces are still intact on both skates. A silver "3" is painted on each skate in the heel area. Some of the leather on the soles is coming loose from the skates. The leather is well-worn and there are some cracks on the surface. The blades include scratches and very small amounts of rust. There is an engraving on the metal post that connects the blade to the boot that reads, "CCM PROLITE, PATENTED 1961." Pronovost played in the NHL from 1950 to 1970. He played for the Red Wings and the Maple Leafs, and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1978.
