"That's one small step for man, one giant step for mankind," said Neil Armstrong, as he became the first person to walk on the moon. Presented is a choice Neil Armstrong signed 3x5" index card. Armstrong, a Navy combat pilot in the Korean Conflict, was a part of the second group of United States astronauts, and he was the commander of Gemini 8 as the first civilian astronaut in space. He was the commander of Apollo 11, which landed on the moon on July 20, 1969, and Armstrong became the first person to step on the moon at 2:56 UTC. He passed in 2012. Fellow Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin called Armstrong, "a true American hero and the best pilot I ever knew." Armstrong's many awards include the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Armstrong signed the index card in blue ink from a ballpoint pen. The signature is big and bold. The autograph has been encapsulated and PSA/DNA Certified as "AUTHENTIC AUTO."
