Presented is a Jim Bottomly signed index card with a PSA/DNA "MINT 9" signature. A Hall of Fame first baseman, Bottomly played 15 Major League seasons: St. Louis Cardinals (1922-32), Cincinnati Reds (1933-35), St. Louis Browns (1936-37). He was known as "Sunny Jim" for his friendly disposition. A lefty batter and thrower, Bottomly batted a career .310 with 2,313 hits and 219 home runs. With the St. Louis Cards, Bottomly was a 4-time National League Champion and a 2-time World Champion. The signed index card measures 3x5". "Bottomly, Jim" was typed by an unknown person across the top. Bottomly signed in neatly-scripted, fountain blue ink, in a big and bold signature. The index card exhibits some slight darkening and light foxing, but it is otherwise in excellent condition. The offering has been encapsulated and it makes a nice Hall of Famer collectible with its PSA/DNA CERTIFIED AUTO GRADE OF MINT 9.
