A framed limited edition animation cel featuring Captain Hook and Smee from Peter Pan. From the 1995 Disney Original Masters collection, the 12x17" piece, numbered 202/350, is encapsulated in a 22x27" frame. Around the cel is a lithographed background that shows numerous "clean-up" sketches. The piece is also signed at the bottom by two famed Disney animators, Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston. Johnston and Thomas were members of Disney's group of "Nine Old Men," who were responsible for much of the company's animation. Peter Pan was released in animated format in 1953 and was a major hit for the studio.
