Presented is an original 1920s cut photograph of Hall of Famer Walter Johnson of the Washington Senators. Johnson, a righthander, played 21 Major League seasons, all with Washington. With 417 wins (279 losses), he trails only Cy Young (511) in all-time Major League victories. Johnson had a 2.17 career ERA. Known both as "Barney" and "the Big Train," he is the all-time MLB leader in shutouts (110), and he ranks fifth in MLB complete games (531). Johnson was a 2-time AL MVP and a 3-time winner of the Pitching Triple Crown. He threw a no-hitter on July 11, 1920. The cut photo measures 2.25x5.25". The back of the photo shows each corner with a glue or paste remnant. The photo, in nice condition, has been encapsulated and PSA Certified as TYPE I AUTHENTIC.
