A framed (16x12.5") photograph that has been signed by baseball legend Babe Ruth. The photo shows Ruth posing with a bat and has been signed and inscribed, "To my friend Joe Lanman, From Babe Ruth, October 28th, 1926." The almost 100-year-old signature has been verified by Beckett Grading Services and a Letter of Authenticity is included. Ruth was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1936, one year after his playing career ended, as one of the five inaugural members. One of the most iconic baseball players of all-time, Ruth passed away in 1948, making copies of his signature quite rare. Ruth autographs are considered to be one of the most unique items of memorabilia in the hobby.
