A vintage Chicago White Sox jersey worn by pitcher Billy Pierce during the 1952 season. The front tail tag shows that the size 42 jersey was made by Wilson and 1952 is stitched under the tail tag. The white jersey features a rare zipper front with a red and black Sox logo on the front and blue pinstripes. Pierce's number 19 is stitched into the back. The garment includes a Letter of Authenticity from Dave Miedema. Pierce played for Chicago from 1949-61, making the All-Star team 7 times. The pitcher's number 19 was retired by the team in 1987 and there is a statue of Pierce at Guaranteed Rate Field.
