Presented is a 1950 James Willard "Willie" Ramsdell Cincinnati Baseball Club original photograph used for his 1951 Bowman card image. Ramsdell, a right-hander, played five Major League seasons: Brooklyn Dodgers (1947-48 & '50), Cincinnati Reds (1950-51), Chicago Cubs (1952). Ramsdell was mostly a reliever for Brooklyn and Chicago and a starter for Cincinnati. Ramsdell was nicknamed "Willie the Knuck" for the knuckleball that he threw. He had a 24-39 career record, with a 3.83 ERA. The 5x7" black & white photo has been encapsulated and PSA Certified as Type I AUTHENTIC. The photo shows some slight foxing and some tiny paper loss at each of the top corners, but it is otherwise in nice condition. The back of the photo has a typed "Willard Ramsdell" and a "Cincinnati Baseball Club" stamp.
