A Rawlings Adirondack bat signed by the inaugural 1962 New York Mets. The lovable, but terrible team would finish with a record of 40-120. The natural colored bat features 28 signatures in blue ink including Frank Thomas, Marv Throneberry, Felix Mantilla, Joe Christopher, and Ed Kranepool. While the Mets would go on to be one of the worst teams in baseball throughout the 1960s, they would go on to shock the baseball world by capturing the 1969 World Series title.
