This white Baltimore Orioles home jersey was worn by Lee May during the 1979 season. The number 14 uniform top was made by Rawlings and is a size 44. The jersey shows light signs of wear, especially on the front side. 1979 was a special year for both May and the Orioles as the team would make the World Series, falling to the Pittsburgh Pirates. At this point in his career, May became the team's designated hitter as future star Eddie Murray would take over first base. Over the course of the season, the slugger would hit 19 homers and knock in 69 runs. May is a member of the Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame.
