Displayed is an early 1970s Jesse Jefferson Baltimore Orioles' game used preseason jersey of the "69" tagged style jersey used in spring training games. Jefferson was a right-handed pitcher, used mostly as a starter, who played nine seasons in the Major Leagues, for five teams. He was with Baltimore in 1973-74, and part of '75. As an Oriole, Jefferson had a combined 7-7 record with a 4.13 ERA. In his Major League career, he has a 39-81 record, with a 4.81 ERA. The offered jersey is white, with orange and black trim. Across the chest is Orioles in orange sewn-on script with black trim. Below the team's name is 38 in orange sewn-on numerals with black trim. Seven silver-white buttons run down the chest. On the outside left tail is a Wilson manufacturer's tag showing size 42 Below the manufacturer's tag is a sewn-on tag with an embroidered 1969 Set 1. On back is JEFFERSON in black, block sewn-on letters. Below the player's name is 38 in orange sewn-on numerals with black trim. There has been name and number restoration, and the jersey is in nice condition.
