1975 Bobby Murcer signed Topps contract addendum, together with two earlier Bobby Murcer handwritten letters to Topps executive Sy Berger ("The Father of the Bubble Gum Card"). 1) One-page typed agreement, dated 3-7-1975 on Topps letterhead, in which Bobby Murcer agrees to amend his existing contract with Topps to include a payment to the Major League Baseball Players Association. Signed "Bobby Murcer" in blue ink (grading 6/10) at the base. 8.5x11". EX. Stapled to the agreement is an amended copy of the referenced contract. 2) One-page handwritten letter on an unlined sheet from Murcer to Sy Berger. Murcer explains to Berger that he hasn't collected his Topps money yet because he's saving up for a new color television. Signed "Bobby Murcer." Both the text and signature are scripted in blue felt-tip pen and grade 10/10. Not dated, but the year, 1968, and Murcer's military PO Box are printed in pencil along the base. 8x10.5. VG-EX, with a staple at the top. 3) One-page handwritten letter, dated February 18, 1974, from Murcer to Berger. In his letter, on his personal letterhead, Murcer thanks Berger for explaining balance of this Topps account, and also for the projector and sewing machine that the company sent to him as part of his contract. Signed "Bobby Murcer." Both the text and signature are scripted in blue ink and grade 9/10. 8.5x11. EX, with a pencil notation along the top border.
