Incredible pre-rookie Pete Rose Heilbroner Bureau piece in his hand, as a member of the Cincinnati Reds' Single-A affiliate Tampa Tarpons. "ROSE, Peter Edward" is typewritten in the top left corner though the rest is filled out in his hand in immaculate blue ink, as these were sent to players and returned. Rose has written "Tampa Tarpons" as his club and "61" is circled at top right for 1961. This is an authentic Heilbroner Bureau card as evidenced by "Bureau of the Blue Book, Fort Wayne, Indiana" pre-printed on the bottom right. Though unsigned, it is encapsulated by PSA/DNA as AUTHENTIC HANDWRITING. Rose led the Tarpons to the Florida State League championship in '61, with a record-setting 30 triples which still stands today.
