Here is an original Brown Brothers photograph of the image used for one of Knute Rockne's most important cards, the 1935 National Chicle #9 card, and his 1955 Topps All American card. This is a later-issued 1940s example that was made off a duplicate negative featuring an image originally taken in the 1920s. PSA authenticated and encapsulated as TYPE IV. Back has handwritten "Knute Rockne" in unknown hand and sports the Brown Brothers stamp. The original negative for this image is also in the current Lelands Classic Auction.
