Collection of twelve National League team-signed baseballs dating from circa 1971. All are Official National League (Feeney) balls. The signatures, scripted in a variety of inks, average 6/10. The balls all display varying degrees of age toning and are otherwise in Excellent to Mint condition overall. Please note: as was the common practice at the time, it is possible that each of these balls contains one or more clubhouse signatures. 1) Pittsburgh Pirates. Twenty-eight signatures including Clemente, Stargell, Oliver, Stennet, Zisk, Ellis, and Cash. 2) New York Mets. Thirty signatures, including Hodges (Mgr., sweet spot), Ryan, Berra (coach), Seaver, McGraw, Koosman, Kranepool, and Singleton. 3) 1971 Cincinnati Reds. Twenty-six signatures, including Bench, Rose, Anderson (Mgr., sweet spot), Perez, Foster, McRae, and May. 4) Atlanta Braves. Twenty-one signatures, including Aaron, Niekro, Evans, and Millan. 5) San Francisco Giants. Twenty-seven signatures, including Mays, McCovey, Marichal, Perry, Bonds, Kingman, and Foster. 6) St. Louis Cardinals. Twenty-seven signatures, including Schoendienst (Mgr., sweet spot), Carlton, Brock, Torre, Sizemore, Alou, Reuss, and Maxvill. 7) Houston Astros. Twenty-two signatures, including Morgan, Geronimo, Cedeno, and Wynn. 8) Chicago Cubs. Twenty-six signatures, including Durocher (Mgr., sweet spot), Banks, Santo, Williams, Jenkins, Pepitone, and Kessinger. 9) San Diego Padres. Twenty-four signatures, including Colbert, Brown, and Gaston. 10) Philadelphia Phillies. Twenty-four signatures, including McCarver, Bowa, Money, Wise, and Hisle. 11) Montreal Expos. Twenty-six signatures, including Staub, Fairly, and Bailey. 12) Los Angeles Dodgers. Five signatures: Alston (Mgr., sweet spot), Wills, Russell, Allen, and Davis.
