Rare souvenir inkwell commemorating the Washington Senators' 1924 World Championship. The circular glass inkwell features a metallic hinged lid, with the design of the lid identical to that of the club's tri-color enameled 1924 World Series press pin, albeit much larger (two-inch diameter) and convex. This is the first such example we have seen and we do not know how many were produced or how they were distributed. Its rarity suggests that few were made, perhaps only for team executives. The inkwell displays wear commensurate with its age and use, including a few light scratches and tiny dings to the glass, and light tarnishing to the metal lid. Diameter: 5 inches. Height: 3 inches.
