An International News Photo credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with the original paper news caption, dated "3/19/43," and a later date stamp of "Mar 28 1943." As noted in the caption, the Giants were training in Lakewood, New Jersey, that spring (teams trained close to home that year due to wartime travel restrictions). The photo (8.5x6.5") displays a few light creases and is in Very Good to Excellent condition.
