Collection of thirty-five film negatives, plus three color transparencies, featuring many Hall of Famers and stars. The vast majority are duplicate negatives, but a few original negatives are included. Among the players represented are Rogers Hornsby (2), Jackie Robinson (2; post career posing with his trophies), Mickey Mantle with his sons, Mickey Mantle with Al Kaline, Mickey Mantle with Joe Pepitone, Mickey Mantle playing first base, Bob Feller, Hank Aaron, Yogi Berra, and Robin Roberts. There are also team shots of the 1937 and 1938 New York Giants, the 1939 National League All-Star team, the 1948 Brooklyn Dodgers in spring training. Additionally, there are nine negatives picturing Daily News newspaper covers and/or composite images. The three color transparencies picture the 1957 Yankees (2; one 7x5" and the other 2.5x2.5") and Hank Aaron at bat (circa 1970; 2.5x2.5"). Sizes range from approximately 2.5x2.5 to 7x5", with many in the 3x5" to 5x4" range. Three of the 1937/1938 Giants team negatives are heavily damaged; otherwise, all are in Excellent condition overall.
